What 'research use only' means

A research-use-only reagent is intended for laboratory investigation. It has not been manufactured, tested, or released under the controls that apply to a medicine, and it carries no approval for administration to people or animals.

Who may purchase

• Individuals aged 21 or over
• Qualified researchers, laboratory personnel, and institutions
• Purchasers acquiring material for in vitro or laboratory research only
• Purchasers able to store and handle research reagents appropriately

Prohibited uses

• Any human consumption, injection, inhalation, or topical application
• Veterinary use of any kind
• Use in food, beverages, cosmetics, or household products
• Use in clinical diagnosis or any procedure involving a patient
• Resale or distribution for any of the above purposes

Your obligations

Placing an order is a representation that you meet the criteria above and that the material will be used only as described. If you cannot make that representation, do not order.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order where the intended use appears to fall outside laboratory research.
